The Walking Advocate (2-of-30)

So, this one really isn’t brain surgery and it works…

It’s the shirt that gets a hand raised for more questions!

I had originally created the idea based on herbal life buttons that said “I lost a ton, ask me how” when I worked at the LA County Fair 4 years ago.

I then ran into a guy at a RUSH concert 2 years ago wearing a golf shirt that said “I do short sales ask me”. I stopped the guy and asked him about the shirt and its success. He said that he got the idea from me at one my live trainings that year and that he had been doing it with amazing success and almost handed out every single card before he got to his seat. He also said that his friends were always embarrassed when he wore the shirt into public, but it did get results.

A few others throughout the years have done it with success as well.

The real problem is that they are AMAZINGLY lame shirts that do look way too desperate and your friends and or family may be embarrassed to go into public when you wear it…

I know this: Your Real Estate or Realtor® shirts you are wearing are certainly not building any credibility with your clients! So you might as well try a new shirt, new attitude with a positive spin!

The new spin to my OLD idea, that’s a really an OLD OLD idea and isn’t really original (sandwich board).

I like the idea of “Ask me: Short Sales and Loan Modifications, learn the truth” easy to read and very straight forward.

SPIN for the front:  “Advocate: Short Sales and Loan Modifications, learn the truth”

SPIN for the front:  “Ask me: Short Sales and Loan Modifications, THEY SUCK!”

SPIN for the front:   “I closed my clients short sale and all they bought me was this lousy t-shirt”

SPIN for the front:  ““I hate short sales and loan modifications too!”

I hope you get the idea for the front…

Now for the back of the shirt, you can be creative and not make it so  “over the top”

Above is my version for a concert tour shirt.

You can make it a 3k run shirt, you can make it homeowner help drive or you can just put the same message that’s on the front on the back!

Spin for the BACK:  OK, got technology: QR codes, websites, email, text for message, etc!

No matter what, be original and do not be afraid of identifying yourself in public to people who are in distress.
