The National Association of Realtors® and the MASSIVE 4 letter designation have done the work to make Real Estate Agents, Realtors® & Real Estate related people are officially persona non-grata with homeowners!

I have literally spent countless hours with key words, focus groups and surveys to discover the one thing that nobody really wants to address…

YOU ARE INSIGNIFICANT!

HOMEOWNERS WHO ARE IN DISTRESS DO NOT WANT TO MEET OR SEE A REAL ESATE AGENT!

Scream from the door all you want that you are qualified but you are literally on the outside looking in and nobody wants to deal with you at all.

You can BUY all the designations, additional letters and training but if you say you are a real estate agent you are dead in the water!

The really harsh reality is that perhaps, the BIG 4 LETTER designation has important information but only a small percentage of agents will buy or ever use it. Further and funnier based on the two a day marketing they have been doing seem to demonstrate their NEED of money and loss of support.

‘ HOME OWNERSHIP MATTERS!” with the national association of Realtors® and FINALLY, it’s NOT:

“Now is the right time to sell your home” as an advertising campaign. For the first time in the history of the organization Lawrence Yun of NAR® didn’t pop his head out of a hole like a groundhog pronouncing ‘optimism’ and ‘growth’.

2011 will be marked as the year the homeowners lost confidence in Real Estate Agents, Realtors® and those associated with the industry.

2012 will be the year that the department of real estate caves in through lobbying and pressure from banks and will use NOTHING but ‘influenced’ asset management companies who will select ‘friendly to the bank’ agents and ALL mitigation will be removed from any type of real estate agents to be shipped off to licensed, bonded asset management companies that work directly with the banks!
