Transparency in Life, Love and CLEAR® REAL ESTATE What is left for me to accomplish with my life? Certainly I must draw a paycheck and support my daughter, ex-wife, her future husband, goats, dogs, and the acreage they live on. Many have faulted me for ‘debating’ a possible return to my 20+ year roots to the banking industry. Some have rallied around the idea of sending me back on the road ala Gordon Ramsay style ‘helping’ agents see the light at the end of the tunnel with short sales…Some would like a kinder gentler soul saver. What have I accomplished? I did teach EVERYONE about SHORT SALES: http://wp.me/p14ecP-19 I created the GREATEST short sale...

“Ingenious”… It is the greatest marketing piece EVER!

»Posted by on May 2, 2011 in real estate, short sales, short sales, real estate, Uncategorized | Comments Off

So I dreamed about the ultimate marketing piece. The idea started a year ago when I was told of the HOLY GRAIL of marketing… “Why isn’t there such a thing as a limited to NO MONEY out of pocket marketing system?  I mean, why can’t there be such a thing as focused marketing in small controlled bursts?” “There is no such thing! It’s the Holy Grail of marketing, if you could invent it. NOBODY has been able to do that in marketing. It has always been based on mass marketing with an acceptable 3 to 5%” return (best recollection, I’m sure Travis will dispute this to some degree). “I believe it can be done!” “If you did you would have the...

A harbor in the tempest

All the promises we make, from the cradle to the grave…   Thank you for your outpouring of concern…you have all shown me a great deal of support in a world that, this morning, feels a little smaller and a little brighter. Last night, everything and everyone I loved was a million miles away and I was left with watching Gordon Ramsay, a bowl of oranges and a family trying to save their restaurant in Sherman Oaks (literally minutes from where I lived, with a former love). My daughter was with her cousin and grandmother (I will never win that battle, the grandmas and the cousins alway win over daddy). The ‘bad ass’ Lee Honish was home ALONE on a Friday...

The Unnamed Feelings

Then the unnamed feeling Takes me away…   So, it has come to my attention via email, facebook, twitter, phone calls, smoke signals, telepathy and telegraph that most of you seem a little shocked by me returning to the a bank. “Lucy, you got some splaining to do!” Here it is in its simplest form: NOBODY HAS MY BACK ANYMORE! I can’t even blame Trent or Ryan anymore for the amount of grief they must take on my behalf, I love them both, but good Lord the amount of grief they take on my part must be staggering. I would say that most all of the SHORT SALE GENIUS agents are simply the BEST! I push you harder, because I expect more (insert my Gordon Ramsay scallop...

REVIEW of MARKETING: Terry Laymance

From Terry: So, if we (the real estate community) are REALLY looking at what we all are trying to accomplish with helping 1 million homeowners avoid foreclosure a reality, is it safe to say that anything we can do to offer them help is worthwhile? What is the value that you would put on a marketing piece that guarantees you results far above the average and way over the normal 2 to 3% return? What are you willing to pay for that piece? It will get your phone ringing, get people into your office that truly need and want help and don’t know where to turn. Getting the word out is the only way we can really make a DIFFERENCE in helping all of the people who are...

Farewell and my FINAL gift to you: The Greatest Marketing Piece EVER!

»Posted by on Apr 25, 2011 in real estate, short sales, short sales, real estate, Uncategorized | 5 comments

OK, so  for the last few weeks of my spring cleaning, I have given away two of my most successful and tested marketing pieces. They are simple, they work on almost any list for mailing and it is a relatively low cost mailer. The question I have been asked is why? Its very simple, most of you do not have the tools to market and with my now nearly evident return to the wonderful world of banking I have decided that the readers of this blog, those I train and the good hearted investors, needed a little help finding people who needed help. I did it for ONE other reason! I HAVE THE EASIEST, MOST SIMPLE  AND POSSIBLY THE CHEAPEST MARKETING PIECE EVER CREATED. I’ll...
